Terms of service

TraceFolio analyses documents you upload and produces a source-cited evidence and timeline report, together with a Certified Execution Record that binds your inputs, the analysis parameters and the delivered document with cryptographic hashes.

• You must have the right to upload and process the documents you submit, including any personal data they contain about other people.
• You must not upload malicious files, or content that is unlawful for you to possess or process.
• You are responsible for how you use the report, including any decision you take or any onward disclosure.

The report is an analytical document. It is not legal advice, expert testimony, a forensic examination, or a determination of fact. Analysis is produced with the assistance of AI models and can contain errors or omissions. Every finding is presented with its source reference so you can check it against the underlying document.

The Certified Execution Record is proof of process, not proof of truth. It demonstrates that a specific set of inputs produced a specific output under recorded parameters, and that neither has been altered since. It does not assert that the contents of your documents are true, complete, or authentic.

Prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling. Reports are paid per report, at the tier you select (£4.99 to £19.99). Pricing is determined server-side from the tier and evidence set at the time of purchase. Payment is taken before processing begins.

If processing fails and no report is delivered, contact us and we will refund that report in full. Because each report is produced to order and delivered as a digital good, we do not offer refunds for a delivered report simply because you disagree with the findings; if the report misrepresents the sources it cites, tell us and we will investigate and refund where that is the case.

Source documents are deleted automatically, typically within 24 hours of your report being produced. See our privacy and retention page for the full model. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your source documents.

The service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent limits, or upload unlawful content.
